No matter your experience we require you to watch the short video explaining the dangers of climbing and safe practice behaviour. If after this do not feel confident using the facility please book an induction here. Alternately come along with a member or experienced climber who can supervise you.

We recommend standard gym clothing

• Tie up long hair
• Avoid excessively baggy/loose clothing
• Remove all jewellery
• Climbing shoes are available to rent and must be worn on the wall

Rings and jewellery are not allowed on the wall and if rings are not able to be removed you will not be allowed to climb.

While climbing you will be required to wear special climbing shoes. You can either bring your own or hire ours at reception.

Children between the ages of 8 – 17 are welcome at Fenrock. For more information please see our under 18 climbing section.

A day pass is just that, full access to the centre on that day during regular opening hours.

We try very hard to make the centre available to all levels of fitness. Routes are graded from VB – V8+ with VB’s being similar to climbing a step ladder.

Fenrock is open to everyone. Feel free to pop in and soak up the atmosphere with a coffee.

The kitchen is not open yet but we do have a great selection of snacks and freshly ground local coffee.

As a general rule, dogs are not permitted at Fenrock.
