In CRUX, it’s you against the wall. Outsmart and outmanoeuvre your fellow climbers in a race to solve your climbing problem first. But watch out! With Feature cards like ‘Thieving Dog’ and ‘Gear Swap,’ the game can turn in an instant, challenging you to adapt your strategy on the fly.
This game is packed with climbing jargon and playful nods to the sport, blending strategy with a dash of humour. CRUX includes 24 Holds cards, 6 Problem cards, 26 Feature cards, and 1 Setup and Rules card, all featuring distinctive stick figure art on high-quality linen card stock.
Designed for 2 or more players, ages 7 and up, CRUX offers around 5 – 10 minutes of engaging gameplay per round. Will you conquer the climb, or will the wall conquer you?

- Increased Strategy: With fewer players, strategic use of Feature cards becomes more important. Consider how each play will impact your opponent directly.
- Dynamic Problem Swapping: The Routesetter card can be a game-changer in a two-player game. Use it wisely to swap your problem card if it seems easier to complete than yours.
