Front-of-House Crew Member
Location: Fenrock Climbing Centre, Wisbech
Contract: Zero-Hours (Primarily Weekend shifts with occasional weekday/holiday cover)
Fenrock is looking for enthusiastic, reliable Front-of-House Crew Members to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for climbing who loves supporting others in a friendly, community-driven environment.
Requirements
- Ideally, you hold a CWI or BWI qualification. However, we strongly welcome applications from those currently on the MTA pathway (BWI/CWI or equivalent) who are working toward their assessment.
- A valid First Aid at Work certificate and a clean Enhanced DBS check are required.
- While having these ready to go is a plus, we can provide First Aid training and facilitate your DBS check for the right candidate.
Role Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, engaging climbing and bouldering sessions for all ages and abilities
• Support supervised sessions, group bookings, and community events
• Promote safe climbing practices and ensure a positive visitor experience
• Contribute to Fenrock’s welcoming, inclusive atmosphere
Contract Details
Contract type: Zero hours contract (no guaranteed minimum hours)
Hours: Offered on an on-demand basis depending on business needs and your availability
Typical shifts include evenings, weekends, and school holiday periods
Future opportunities: As Fenrock continues to grow, there may be opportunities to move into regular part-time or full-time roles
Pay & Benefits
Pay is in line with UK National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage rates and will be confirmed based on age at the time of employment:
Rates are reviewed annually in line with government updates each April.
